An open source project to gather and geo-code information about speed limit signs - ostensibly "to regulate or warn of excessive speed". I can't see how this helps, though there is an interesting business model -- "Known contributors are shareholders and should expect to get paid."It's supposed to be global, though I couldn't see any speed signs outside the US. Not sure what I would do if I could anyway; perhaps the snail logo is a sign that they are on the side of the good guys.
